DomainShane’s BIG LIST of Domain Name Auction Picks: Thursday, January 29th, 2015

Escrow.com

Looking through Ron’s weekly sales list it’s hard not to get excited about the state of domains.  Sure there are tons of classes of domains who’s values have dropped to almost nothing. New gTLDs don’t have an aftermarket yet but the top quality names are flying. Numbers, short, and dictionary words are just starting to take off.  Just starting to take off?  LLL.coms are up 100% and numerics are through the roof.  Yes, I still think they will continue to run higher.  Why?  Because they aren’t making more dot coms and they are in demand as they’ve ever been.  The only problem at this point is the barrier to entry.  It is very expensive to get in to names that are doing well.  There are less domain markets under $1000 that have consistent and stable sales.  Right now its 5N.com and CCC.coms.  And those are starting to get expensive.  But opportunity is still there at all price levels are there, just have to find where it is.  Here are today’s names.

CarWrapping.com  The reserve is met on this one. As I said before, I had two cars wrapped and they have paid for themselves thrice over in advertising alone.  Wrapping is the future, not painting

RetailManagement.com Up for the third time at auction.  Owner either needs to lower reserve or sit on it for while.  But it is a nice name

83655.com  55 is second only to 88.  This one could hit $500

66832.com   Over under $400

CoinSavers.com   Bitcoin isn’t going away.  Maybe your balance right now but bitcoins are a long road and you want to have a few bitcoin domains

OLHV.com  Under $50 is a good buy on this IMO

RightHealth.com  Not sure why it’s over $1K but I don’t know everything and I learn everyday.  Somebody fill me in

Jackass.org   Even as a dot org its still a good name. Perfect political name

UHMU.com   Love the look of this one.  Good letters.  I may buy this one

ExpiringNames.com  Sounds like a site that already exist.  As good of a name as you’ll find if you’re starting an expiring names tool

Matinee.com   A word word, ticket selling, monster name.   A hell of a lot better than Fandango

GotATip.com   Put this in for as a thanks to someone who signed up for our newsletter (top right corner) Its a great name.  Great name for website for helpful hints, game cheats, stocks, news stories, etc.  Should do well

SIGN UP FOR OUR NEW NEWSLETTER (top right of the page) for this list delivered the night before with some fun and games added

Pharmaceuticals.com  There is a reason they call it big Pharma.  Nobody can spell pharmaceuticals.  But it is a multi billion dollar business where $100K is a drop in the bucket. 20 years old

Installed.com   Not a huge fan of past tense verb but it still works to represent installing anything. People will get it and it will grow in value IMO. 18 years old

00013.com  Doesn’t end for a couple day but one of my favorite 5Ns of the last few months.  Not going to be cheap.  Heck its already not cheap

A GODADDY COUPON CODE: A 1.99 Cent Dot Com Registration. Used on 1/26/15 ctfxc

BankOffshore.com  aka Hide your money.

IUZ.com  Remember Z is now the best letter.  At least that’s what somebody told me and I believe everything I hear.

HairClub.org   $3.66 CPC and lots of men are just like me, willing to pay a lot of money to have hair again.  Actually I’m going to keep it short and keep my teeth pretty.  Cheaper and easier

SVIO.com Only 12 bidders. 14 years old

Out.in   Probably my favorite .in name yet.  Short,  memorable , and a little fun

11.biz  Reserve is probably not going to be met but one of the few .biz I can recommend buying
