DomainShane’s BIG LIST of Domain Name Auction Picks: Thursday, July 30th 2015

Escrow.com
I consider myself a pretty “on it” kind of person but yesterday I got taken.  I was taken by the Budget Rental Car at the airport in Kona Hawaii .  I know that most rental car companies try and tack on fees and insurance and I am usually looking out for them.  They heard what I said and had prepaid for but they decided to tack it all on the contract.  But stupid me got in a hurry and signed the bottom. I had flown 10 hours, was exhausted and I had stood in line 45 minutes to get the car.   Behind me in line were another 10 people with the same frustrations wanting me to get moving and I could feel it.  My fees went from $350 to $700 for the week.  Of course they said I signed it so I should have known better.  But I prepaid for the car and verbally said no and they still tacked it on.  I assumed I was signing for what I just said but I should have paid more attention.  That was my fault. I am only posting it as a reminder to anyone renting anything to spend the extra 5 minutes reading what they are initialing, even if you’re in a hurry and tired.  Because that is when they take advantage of you and in my opinion this particular Budget Rent a Car pushes things until they are caught..  Because as I read through their Yelp rating I am not the first.  I will make sure to use my writing skills to help others avoid this rental car place when they come to beautiful Kona .   Here are today’s names.

EFSB.com  19 year old LLLL.com

BuyEasy.com  17 years old.   Anything that makes spending money easier is always welcome.  May hit 4 figures

ComSouth.com   The big company uses the dot net.  20 years old

AYAE.com  Three and a half vowels.  Not hot but still good IMO

QZTM.com   Q for Quality.  Over $300 as expected

WYGW.com  Should cross $2K if past auctions are any indication.  I am a bidder

XDPP.com   These prices are just amazing.   Another boat I missed on the first round

TSJK.com  And this one is doing even better

WZWC.com  Anyone looking to spend 4 figures on an LLLL.com?  I have one here for you

SJQM.com    $630 at press time.  10 years old

XQCM.com   Same price, same age

EUOV.com  Under $100 at press time

89839.com  7 years old.  I’m not giving you many keywords on today’s list am I?

WordMarket.com   Good domain name site name.  Under $40 at press time

2-1.com  Coming up later in the week but curious how this one will finish.  Only 99 of these

New GODADDY COUPON CODE: $.99 New Registration Godaddy fb99brmr01

YSBY.com   No vowels, 9 years old.    A Chinese name with English uses

Face.io  I know one company that may want this

FOXO.com  The eternal, up for auction name.   Can’t believe it hasn’t met reserve at this price

ElbowRoom.com  Loved this name when it was up for auction last time.  Can’t remember if I lost or if it didn’t meet reserve. Still like it

RadioProgram.com   20 years old and under $100 at press time

kZ9.com   Now we have to start looking at the two letters in CCC.coms to make sure they are Chinese friendly. This one is and the bids are showing it

JUAX.com  Reserve met.  Under $100

SEDO’s Live Auctions Going on Now

CTK.com   Chinese LLL.com.  Bring your checkbook

NWAF.com   Before these only consonant things took over.  This is what I was buying…..and I still am. 18 years old

GNDA.com  Same for this one

DebtSolutions.com  Last chance to get one of the better names this year

PartyShops.com  48 million results for the keywords and 56 bidders want to party

AFAX.com  Have to get past the word Fax and see the value as an acronym.   Only 15 bids

AYFI.com  Someone isn’t  messing around with this one.  Hasn’t officially gone to auction and its already sky high

HowToRepairMyCredit.com  These used to be SEO gold.  Doesn’t have a lot of bids but I think it could still be built out and make some good money

DomainNameReport.com  I thought you all might like this one for a blog or website.  Only 7 bidders so it won’t be that expensive.

WU.uk   I don’t own any .uk but I’m smart enough to know they have some value.  Just not smart enough to read a rental car agreement

  1. Nothing worse than seeing you list a name Ive tracked for a month that previously had 2 bidders.

I hope you crash that rental car into a ravine you swine!

    1. Not cool man!

You and the other 2 bidders obviously weren’t the only ones watching the name.

    2. Anthony, your father should of shot that load you were swimming in, into your mothers mouth.

      Fool.

  2. The “You swine” was a good enough hint that I was being sarcastic, I misguidedly thought!

    1. Hello Shane,

Before you posted this I sent you a message via email explaining that I did not mean this as anything other than sarcasm.

You were discussing car insurance for rentals and I know that when you rent a car if it has a scratch you have to pay a massive premium, the ravine comment was taking it to its absolute maximum, which again I thought would clarify it was just jesting.

As I said before, this is the first site I come to every morning (on your birthday) and I laugh every day at the jokes, so I was just trying to make you laugh mate, that’s it.

Posting my name is not really on, if I had wanted to be malicious I would not put a real email in my comments to you.

      Regards,

      Anthony

      1. Anthony,

I removed your name. I really appreciate you explaining things so apology accepted and we’re cool. Terrible attempt at a laugh but now that I know it actually is pretty funny.

      2. Hello Shane,

Thank you. No offence was intended & sorry if it was taken.

I was thinking about this the last couple of hours and it is strange because I almost feel like I know you because your personality comes across in your posts, which is why I made a joke here that I would probably never make to someone I have never met.

        Take care mate.

        Regards,

        Anthony
