Winning Ugly.com . A term I used to hear all the time. Mostly because I used to play on a soccer team that played two sweepers ( I was one) and we had one of the best defenses in the state. One year we didn’t allow but one goal. But it wasn’t that fun to watch. Because we would get a goal and then spread it out and play hard defense the rest of the game. Almost every game was one or two to nothing. It worked for years until we got to the state championships and then got out skilled. Lost four years in a row.
