Frank Schilling has become THE Icon of domaining over the years (Rick Schwartz is just as deserving but not as handsome) but I realized one thing while working with him on Domain Sherpa. He doesn’t seem to care for numerics and CCC.coms. He is a keyword guy all the way. He’s certainly made tens of millions doing his thing so I’m sure it doesn’t bother him that he wasn’t a big part of the biggest price movers of the last 3 years. He surely has some in his portfolio and probably sold some numerics over the years. I’ve followed his buying on Namejet and he is not, and hasn’t been, a buyer in that class. I don’t think he’s losing any sleep over it though. Here are today’s names.
PortlandAntiques.com No bidders. 18 years old. Just has to be an antique dealer in Portland that could use this. I know there is beer, homeless, and strip clubs in Portland and among all that there is probably an antique shop.
OregonHoney.com I’m going to say the exact same thing here. But I’ve bought fresh honey in Oregon so I’m positive in this case. 18 years old. One bidder at $10
WSNR.com 18 years old. Great letters and under $600 at press time
MJB.net Worth a heck of a lot more than the current $100 bid (remember these go up between the time I write and publish but anything under $500 is still cheap IMO)
COTD.com C Of The Day. I am a bidder
DYMQ.com Tough to make an acronym with the Q at the end of an LLLL.com in the English language. Not so in Chinese. But the price is a bit high for me so it’s all yours
Sexualize.com No bidders. Hard to get a dictionary word for $12. Especially a good adult name
TLBJ.com BJs always bring a good price
79701.com 79705.com 79706.com Almost all through the hundred 5N.coms that were dropping
79925.com 79932.com 79934.com 79935.com All these are the next level up. All above $600
PHPW.com The every other matching letter 4L.com have all been reaching $700 and above as long as they aren’t V or Vowels
TheDeposit.com 11 years old. No bidders. I see a ton of uses. Sperm bank or regular bank
PLZD.com Only to the Chinese does this have value. But it has a lot to them and thus the price
CandyMe.com If you own candy.me you HAVE to own this. Even if you don’t it still works as a marketing name for a candy supplier
Punch.me If me has any value this one will do well. Only at $38 at press time. Wow
818088.com I can’t believe I’m saying this but I think this 6N.com is undervalued at the current bid
New GODADDY COUPON CODE: None Work, None. Click the link to See that None of them Work Godaddy Click This For No SavingsAMNT.com Under $200 at press time. A few years ago this would have gone for $500……and will again soon IMO
MyFace.com Solid name, worth the price for the domain name itself. But there is something else going on here. The lister put it in the starter site section with an ad lander. You would think that he is trying to get traffic but he’s not. I know because he has the generic lander from Network Solutions and he gets no money from that one.
DOYA.com Nice CVCV. All comes down to reserve. I guess it always does
Young-Girls.com Pretty sure Jared of Subway is selling this one
SEDO’s Live Auctions Going on Now
TheMadHatter.com A well known character from Alice in Wonderland so it has value
VenetianGlass.com 17 bidders and 19 years old. People still love Italian glass
HEXX.com Great brand and LLLL.com
ProductDesigners.com Only two bidders. Figured it would be a good name if that’s what you did. A bit too generic. But only two bidders so won’t cost much
DogClips.com Evidently nobody wants to buy a dog grooming name today
CRFM.com But SURE you’ll bid on a LLLL.com that you can’t even pronounce. Yeah, I like this one better too
ThemeGurus.com Lots of money in WordPress Themes
Electrocute.com Actually a solid brand but hurts like a bitch when you get it done to you. That’s if it doesn’t kill you. And that’s why its such a cool brand
OpenSales.com Love this one. You know the owner is going to be selling something and the name lets it be anything
