As a guy that watches all three auction houses I see quite a few names that don’t meet reserve and go back up for sale. Then they don’t sell so they go to another auction house. There is a point in time where a name actually loses value just because it hasn’t sold at auction several times. It makes it appear to have no buyers. What it actually means is the reserve is too high and/or the potential profit is actually and end user and he hasn’t been to the auction site during the auction time. Some say you should never keep listing a name but I have seen more than once a name sell on the 3rd of 4th try and for thousands more than any previous attempt. Evidently it was the right day and caught the right buyer. I thought the seller was killing the name but I was proven wrong. But that way 2 times out of 100. The other 98 hurt their name and should have put it away for a while. Here are today’s names.
Gem.org This name has been up for auction a ton of times. If this doesn’t sell the owner needs to put it away for a while or take the loss and sell it for whatever the auction ends up at.
VYGR.com 18 years old. $27 at press time so at a pretty good price. I see “VIGOR” but at that price it doesn’t have be fancy
Wack.net This one would have been a high flyer back in the day. Now it’s a dot net. I still think dot nets present value. I just have extended the time I think it will take to realize it. This is a nice one though
Ladder.net Another nice dot net. It WILL sell. No reserve and the price is under $150 at press time
BeyondTheSun.com Only one bidder. 200 million results pretty much says it all.
GR9.com LLN.com so if you buy it you will at least have one liquid domain that you can sell if you need pizza money. Pretty low for a LLN right now but of course it’s not over yet
LikeThisPhoto.com Getting lots of love. Probably because todays generation cares more about how many likes they get on Instagram than they do about their grades at school
MUUB.com I have this thing for LLLL.coms with U in the middle. They always seem to do well
BuyingDomainNames.com I figured you guy would like this. No bidders. Sorry just kidding
YUAW.com Getting all the bids because it’s a typo for TUAW. At least that’s what I think
UCVO.com Under $25 at press time. Great letters
Important.org One of the better dot orgs in a while. But the price reflects it. Could hit 5 figures
NiceBongs.com Because nobody wants a shitty bong
3dPrinter.info Had it on yesterday. Still no love. Only $150 at press time
NEW Thursday!!!! Working Godaddy Domain Code of the day. 25% off new items added to cart. Great for new gTLDs bb2017a
ADEA.com Good letters. Probably means something. 18 years old
N-M.com Yes these have good value
ArizonaPools.com Florida, Arizona, and California are the home of people with pools. So, with that incredible data this name is a good one
Heiju.com Chinese first name. Also a few companies as well. The most bids of any name at Namejet today
PinkTape.com One of those simple color nouns that makes a great brand
Have a name at auction and need more exposure? Send me an email. We may be able to help. If you have an auction you want to promote, email us for details. *All names chosen by me, Shane, and the goal of this list is to have all links be paid through commission . (ie you click through and purchase a name you like) or an occasional paid listing. Everything I say is based on my own research or is opinion. Do your own due diligence. That means look it up yourself if you don’t think the stats or my opinion is correct
I seen that the gem.org owner also has the name listed a flippa right now as well as godaddy
