DomainShane’s BIG LIST of Domain Name Auction Picks: Wednesday, May 20th, 2015

May 20 2015

We taped another episode of DomainSherpa with  Drew, Adam. Mike and I and I think you’re going to like the latest show. Drew is in rare form and Adam is always earning his pay with some great advice.  I usually can’t be shut up when I’m on camera but I can’t help but sit back and listen ( or laugh) when the guys get rolling.  It really is one of the most enjoyable things I do and I hope it comes across.  I think it airs next Monday and is worth watching or listening to.  Hope you find a good bargain today. Here are today’s names  Two words, one great price.  18 years old. I’m a bidder  When it comes to LLLL.coms what was bad is good and what was good is still OK.  18 years old. Ks and Ws at the beginning have traditionally been good because the are the call letters for TV and radio I don’t get this.  Its this high and its already an actual bank. Nothing but squatting going on.  Maybe I’m missing something  Can’t Live Without This  I’m still learning but I think this is a great looking  Worth $600 or more IMO.  Not 1/2 that at press time  And yet this one is over $1200  No bidders.  Perfect review site name  Pretty fun name for $20.  One bidder  Something something Las Vegas  I asked my wife what she thought of this domain .  “I like the shrimp, not sure about the domain”   Ironically was also my breakdancing name back in the 80s.  No bidders   Laughed enough to put it in the list  A Chinese city and stuff.  Thus the four figure bids  At $2500 and I think its worth another $2K  I know.  It’s tempting to jump in the market.  I wouldn’t worry about it.  You’re probably going to miss it  Another over $1500  I like this one under $100.  And it is when I wrote this   I thought you guys and girls might like this one

VERIFIED GODADDY COUPON CODE: $1.99 New Registration Godaddy art199  Not getting much love.   Maybe you can make it sell  If first you don’t succeed.  Put it up for auction 74 times   Not just for lions.   The plural .org sold for $7K.  This is at 10% of that  Dot io has settled quite a bit lately but I like this one a lot.  Tech likes short common word brands.  Fits   This says so much about the resell value of gTLDs and specifically .xyz.  Not $1 bid on this one

SEDO’s Live Auctions Going on Now  Venture Capitalist by day.  DJ by night.  19 years old  Is everyone high?  Its a typo and there are this many bidders?  Gets 2700 monthly visitors  Its no but that went for $8500  Looks like its going to close at $1500 unless one of you want it.

I’ve finally thought of a use for .xyz. It can be pronounced as “sies” or “zies”, eg. for onesies.
