DSAD.com: Domain Shane’s Daily List of Domains at Auction for Friday, July 29th

Escrow.com

You know where the big money is in the new gTLDs?   Losing auctions. Early on I was part of an investment group looking to apply for a new gTLD.  We found some we liked but when we found out there were other applicants we moved to another because we wanted to own a G and not get beat out.  In hindsight we should have wanted to get beat out.  The losers or the auctions get a percentage of the money fromthe winning bidders and that often millions and millions.  I’m too lazy to see who the competitors were in the dot web auction but all of them took home millions.  Its one of the few times that I would love to be a loser over and over again. Here are today’s names. Click for current prices

  1. I’m seeing a lot more .co in your lists recently. Are you warming up to .co? 🙂

Agree with approached.com – the past tense ‘ed’ ending always rolls into the ‘d’ of dot com so if you say it normally it sounds like you’re saying approach.com causing brand confusion. If you emphasise the ‘ed’ ending you sound like a nutter.

    1. John,

I am working with a guy that has a few thousand dot co at auction on Namejet. I am trying to pick out the best 4 or 5 I like from the list. Like all country codes like dot io, co, and cc, I only like them for certain words. Most are worthless and don’t work. But there are those that do
