I am surprised how many people don’t know about the legendary “First” and “Two Two” bidding accounts they see at Namejet, Dropcatch and various auction houses. These two are actually bidding accounts for two Chinese websites. The websites are in Chinese and allows Chinese speaking bidders to bid on auctions in English and feel comfortable doing it in their native language and on one platform. The sites make money by extending the auctions once a name is won at an auction house. The amount the name goes for above the purchase price at the auction house (Namejet etc) is kept by the Chinese auction house. So you really are bidding against thousands of people when you go against First. It doesn’t just feel like it. The owners have figured out their power and a bid or lack of one can dictate the price of categories. By no means am I saying they have done this but if they want to not have their clients bid on a certain type of name they simply don’t include them in their list. They have a lot of power and prices are absolutely effected by these two. Watching the difference between where they end on Namejet and where they end their is valuable data. If only you had it. And that data my friend is how babies are made. Here are today’s names. Click to see current prices.

Have a name at auction and need more exposure? Send me an email. I Charge $10 per name per day. We may be able to help. If you have an auction you want to promote, email us for details.*All names chosen by me, Shane . (ie you click through and purchase a name you like) or an occasional paid listing. Everything I say is based on my own research or is opinion. Do your own due diligence. That means look it up yourself if you don’t think the stats or my opinion is correct. I hand choose my names but I am paid to make this list by both the auction houses, individuals that are auctioning names, and Godaddy affiliate links. Keep that in mind and only buy names that YOU think are good

Thanks for sharing about the background of first and twotwo. That really makes sense to me now. These Chinese are pouring plenty of money.
Good info.
I noticed this with beianx buyer at pheenix. They buy hundreds of names there. When you go to beianx dot com it forwards to juming dot com an auction site. How can someone do that for their own website.
I had always assumed “First” was an individual – a Gazillionaire individual.
Now I know why “First” always wins.
