Today is a another edition of DomainSherpa. As usual there’s some pretty good stuff in there among all the fun we’re having. I really do enjoy doing the show and I hope it comes across. This week we have Sam Dennis as the 3rd Sherpa. We like to add people that have a good head of hair or a beard. Kind of a balance thing. This coming week we’re going to have Frank Schilling to join us and its always fun to have Frank’s point of view on things. On a side not I almost finished my domain taxes and I hit a goal of having more revenue come in from non domain sales than I did domain sales. Advertising revenue from this site and my 15 other plant sites, brokerage commissions, and commissions from this list, all added up to quite a bit this year. It enabled me to grow my portfolio tremendously without having to sell much. The snowball effect is how you really make money. Wait for the best offers rather than take what you can get. I did sell some names at Namejet this month but I only did that to take some profits in a couple areas of my portfolio. The goal is still to make a profit and I sell a little here and there to take some . Here are today’s names. Click to see current prices.
WorldClock.com This one got some fantastic bids at the original auction. The reserve has been moved to under six figures and if I remember the name came pretty close to that at the NamesCon auction
888733.com My name. Its probably not going to meet reserve unless somebody gets into a bidding war. I had no plans to sell it but you have to test the market every once in a while. It may not be what I want to see. I’m young. I can wait and see how things play out
333998.com I like this name a lot as well. I guess I just like patterns. A few billion other people do as well

03736.com Then again a 5N.com is never a bad thing
YRRR.com These were going for $4500 earlier in the year. Although this isn’t a high end triple repeater it still is in high demand. We’ll have to see what high demand is paying right now

XPThemes.com Great backlinks and a PR5. Themes pay well if you can get some traction aka sales
5225.info I am not a numeric info buyer but they have been increasing in value so I understand why people buy them. And if you do this pattern is very nice
3553.info, 2662.info, 3113.info, 2882.info , 7667.info A few more similar
GameFaction.com A lot of games with the name “faction” in it
LikeBright.com The 3600 monthly visitors doesn’t hurt
662100.com , 609233.com These are still selling just down a little. And I bought a lot so I may be a bag holder. Or I may wait and move on to other things while my food cooks

Have a name at auction and need more exposure? Send me an email. I Charge $10 per name per day. We may be able to help. If you have an auction you want to promote, email us for details.*All names chosen by me, Shane . (ie you click through and purchase a name you like) or an occasional paid listing. Everything I say is based on my own research or is opinion. Do your own due diligence. That means look it up yourself if you don’t think the stats or my opinion is correct. I hand choose my names but I am paid to make this list by both the auction houses, individuals that are auctioning names, and Godaddy affiliate links. Keep that in mind and only buy names that YOU think are good
Great insight on how one should view domains.
