When I went to my first domain conference back in 2009 I didn’t know a soul. I had been writing DomainShane for a few months so I knew of a few people but I was still a newbie. I could see all the old friends meeting and shaking hands. Having private meetings, going out at night. I just kind of watched. But there were 4 guys that came up to me, introduced themselves, and became instant friends. Morgan Linton, Oscar Correa, Ron Wells, and Jason Thompson. I consider them friends for life. They are the ones that got me in to the industry. That answered the questions that I had been waiting to ask. Now Jason Thompson has put together a conference that is going to help more people. To bridge the gap between the Startup community and domain investors. Its called The Domain Startup Summit. He and another one of my friends. Dwayne Walker have a lot of experience in this field and Dwayne was a big part of putting together DomainFest in Santa Monica so he knows what he’s doing. If you’re in the area at the end of July I highly suggest you attend. I have never had anything but a great experience when I have been around these two.
