There’s a new DomainSherpa out today. I talk about the new domain I picked up Blowtorch.com While I still buy and sell via the auction houses, every day I am looking for names of value that had past use but either the company is no longer using the name, or the owner is ready to move in a different direction. I usually only buy 3 or 4 of these each year. Earlier in the year I bought Botany.com that used to be a site purchased by Demand Media. I was privy to to the original purchase price and I paid much much less. Although the original purchase was for a site and I only purchased a domain.
