Travis and I were talking over credit cards and which one would be the best one to use based on spending habits. You heard me mention before that I’m not a big fan of giving credit card users tons of free stuff and then charging it to business owners but I realize that’s its just a form of marketing. I also realize that my sales go way up because people spend more than they can afford at my store. And I’m not going to change the system so I might as well get as many points as I can personally. I settled on the Chase Saphire Reserved. It costs $450 a year but the benefits easily offset the cost based on my spending and travel. You get 100,000 miles when you sign up and a travel credit of $300 every year that comes right off your credit card bill. So I bought my NamesCon flight and it went from $319 to $300. So its already down to $150 a year. There are a ton of other benefits and while it may not be for everyone, it certainly has been better than my other cards. Any cards you guys think are good for people in our industry. Here are today’s names. Click for current price.

Have a name at auction and need more exposure? Send me an email. I Charge $10 per name per day. We may be able to help. If you have an auction you want to promote, email us for details.*All names chosen by me, Shane . (ie you click through and purchase a name you like) or an occasional paid listing. Everything I say is based on my own research or is opinion. Do your own due diligence. That means look it up yourself if you don’t think the stats or my opinion is correct. I hand choose my names but I am paid to make this list by both the auction houses, individuals that are auctioning names, and Godaddy affiliate links. Keep that in mind and only buy names that YOU think are good
” So I bought my NamesCon flight and it went from $319 to $300. So its already down to $150 a year”
I am not following the math. ??
Meyer,
🙂 That really was a terrible explanation on my part. The card gives you an automatic $300 rebate for travel. I bought a ticked for $319 and the price was reflected at $19. So the $450 annual charge is more like $150 if you count the $300 a year they give you every year.
I’m a Southwest/Chase Credit Card (earn SW air miles) fan. It only cost me $11.20 for a round-trip flight from Chicago to and from Vegas for NamesCon in Jan. So now I have a few hundred bucks left over to buy one of your “decimeter.com” type of domains Shane! 🙂
Vito,
Evidently there are much better names than decimeter for $200. Or so I keep being told 🙂
