I’m no different than anyone else in that I get a lot of offers from Domain Name Sales but very little response from my counter offers. Like anything else you have to keep up the communication. I’ve been in business long enough to know that most of the time when I think something isn’t working its almost always me not doing it right. Especially when it comes to marketing. And I think selling my name is marketing it. Not throwing in why its so great but rather that its for sale and staying on the buyer until he/she says no. It takes effort and time. Many of my sales have taken months. Which is nothing compared to some of my buys that have taken years. My increased efforts have only yielded more responses (response rate still sucks) and no sales but I just recently started making more effort. I’ll let you know if anything comes of it.
