One of the most difficult times in domain investing is when you need money quickly. Selling names takes time. Even selling names at auction takes weeks or months to actually get cash in hand. It leaves people selling on forums where you get a dime on the dollar in exchange for a quick paypal money. But its like anything in the financial world. If you need things to happen quickly, you are eliminating some options for better returns. I am not in that situation of needing quick money, just realizing how long it took to get our auction together, letting the bidding process run through, and then payment.
