DSAD.com: Domain Shane’s Daily List of Domains at Auction for Thursday, Feb 11th

Escrow.com

Quite a few names on Namejet today.   It was a little slower with a number of people skipping the last week for Chinese New Year but its now coming back.  Too many to list which is a nice change.

On a non domain investing but kind of a domain investing note.  I had to use my domain name buying negotiating skills during a negotiation last week.  Someone bought a vacant garden center and was looking to sell the contents. They wanted the land and the storage sheds but had no use for the contents or the greenhouses.  He bought the property for next to nothing. I had that info.  Scrap metal is at an all time low.  I had that info.  And the other closest greenhouse company had no more space to add houses.  I gathered that info by driving to their property and scoping out their property.  I also don’t NEED the stuff. But to buy it would have costs hundreds of thousands of dollars. Even if I don’t use it now in time it will be very valuable.

So taking all that info I offered an amount that I though was fair considering what I knew.  We went through all the exact same thing I go through in domain name negotiation.  My offer.  Response too low.  Counter.  I can throw in a few thousand dollars more if you throw in this but that is my final offer.  Response. Still too low and I have another party interested in the stuff.  My counter.  Sure, let me know after they see it.  No calls for a week but then “Can you do this price?” which a few thousand more.  I split it.  Done.  I realize this is how all negotiation is done but I do it so often now I can almost predict every counter.  Always waiting for the “I have another person interested” email or call.   The key is you have to be able to walk away and in this case it was easy. Because I was giddy with excitement of the opportunity to get all this stuff, I never owned any of it so I wasn’t losing anything.

Here are todays names. Click to see current prices.

RootCellar.com  18 years old. I thought about keeping this one off and I hardly ever do that.  Great brand for anything storage related.  I’ve probably killed my chance of buying this one

ArtForce.com  18 years old.  I like the above much better but this one is 20 times higher

WB38.com  Don’t see many 17 year old LLNN.coms

SweetsandTreats.com   Also 17 years old.  I love both and is a great marketing name for someone that sells them

BibleVerses.com  Judging by the price and all the bids there is a lot of money in bible verses

Refueling.com   Not gas for the car but for life.

SNN.net  Very fantastic LLL.net.   5% of LLL.com is $5K imo

N5.net  Rarer than a LL.net

TestAnswers.com  And you know every kid is going to come to this site

KBCM.com  Remember last week when these were under $2,000?

HappyNow.com People love names that resonate positivity.  This fits the bill

SiteWorth.com  Can’t think of a better website evaluator name

Zapad.com  Nice to see the great prices pronounceable 5Ls are getting

9B0.com   I don’t like it all because I don’t like the zero and oh confusion.  But they sell every day with no problems so they are still worth owning

38611.net 10 year old 5N.net  55316.net 38611.net  And two that aren’t

A nice little quintuplet of 5N.coms today.   48130.com 48118.com 48176.com 24624.com 21047.com

15619.com  Take out the 4s and zeros and its at a whole other price level

838777.com  Great looking 6N.com  Top 5% of the category.  Going to fly past $2K IMO

677188.com  Not quite as good but the double 88 is always nice

RCLC.net  Not a ton of LLLL.net today.  At least not many that I feel like listing

108688.com  Damn zero. Ruins everything

132676.com  132578.com Will get a peek at what a general CHiP goes for today with these two

ZYS.co  CHiP LLL.co are killing it

And a few suspicious names.  Prices that don’t make sense.  Maybe I’m dumb.  Don’t answer that

Freakens.com at $2200  4533345.com at $2550  1422214.com at even higher

55HK.com  now THIS price makes sense.  You know with the whole 55 and Hong Kong thing going on

IXVK.com  MBXU.com GFVX.com   MCKV.com  The daily group of bottom percentile of the LLLL.com

132569.com  At $17 at press time

PKPK.co   If the LLL.co are moving, this would be the natural next names to increase.  Just talking logic, it means nothing.  Don’t take my advice or you may lose everything.  And then you will be forced to actually check for the cheapest gas in town

BattleYard.com  Sounds like an app that a celebrity would endorse that is free but you pay $32 in game to have 6 extra chances to finish a level

Special Domain Shane ONLY Coupon…….. CODE IS DDCDS2015 Good 30% off Discount Domain Club to get the lowest renewal prices Godaddy offers (DDC)

NNXR.com   No reserve at 309 British Pounds which I think is like $34,000 but I really am not good with pound conversion

797.org and 833.org   Surprised the dot org is so low.  Just not kept up.  Opportunity or just not going to happen?

FOR OTHER GREAT NAMES FOR SALE MAKE SURE TO VISIT CAX.COM

UtilityVans.com  Those sprinter vans have taken over the market.  I see them everywhere. 7 bidders

MoveLeft.com  Perfect Democratic party name.  Sell it to Bernie Sanders.  2 bidders

128699.com  Nice CHiP 6N.com   My guess is over under of $200

TheHealingClinic.com I’ve said it a hundred times. People in pain will pay anything to get rid of it.  This one sounds official

DKZ.net, QXM.net, QWL.net  Every day is the same but a little different.  The LLL.nets come strong every …single…..day

BrakeInspection.com  As seen on DomainSherpa.  I thought it worked well for someone in the business to use as a marketing name

WalesRugby.com  65 million results for this one.  Only 6 bidders at press time. 17 years old

MMOO.com   AABB pattern aka the Primo pattern or however you say that in Chinese.

MNEN.com  Good acronym letters despite being CHiPless

OutdoorPoolTable.com  Didn’t even know it existed.  Sounds awesome

Downloads.net   I don’t think its quite as valuable of a keyword as it was but still pretty damn valuable

1851.net   People forget about NNNN.nets   Understandable given how many choices of tlds and patterns to invest in right now

22285.net  Strong 5N.net as well

PWIK.com KTEY.com ACJT.com WDBU.com    A big number of lower end LLLL.coms.  Here are a few. Although WDBU is a step above the rest

USToyStore.com  100 million results for this one.  Upgrade name for a few companies.  No bidders

InfrastructureBonds.com   Most investors don’t know what these are.  They are usually some of the better interest paying bonds that cities issue.  Usually higher paying because they don’t always pay back very timely. NO bidders
