DSAD.com: Domain Shane’s Daily List of Domains at Auction for Wednesday, July 13th

Jul 13 2016

Escrow.comIt’s hard to live in the US and not constantly hear about Pokemon Go.  I have to admit I have been messing with it the last couple days and it really is fantastic. A combination of geocaching, augmented reality ,  and gaming.   I see the future when I see it.   I see so many business applications when I use the thing. Not necessarily with finding Pokemon but the technology in general.  I imagine people that are members of our special rewards club looking through their phone and seeing a star hovering over a plant that means its a super special price to only them.  Augmented reality is going to be scary fun.  I fear how many people are going to be wearing headsets and looking at their phones but it will undoubtedly be amazing.  And of course I am thinking how I can monetize it.   On another note, congrats to Escrow.com on a million active users.  Our industry would not be the same without them.   Here are today’s names. Click to see current prices

Commingled.com Nice name for weddings, dating, or anything social. At $20

NameCompany.com I think this sold for four figures at one timeFI40T9W

VRViews.com It has VR in it. Of course its got a bid

TheToker.com Not a bad canna name for $12. No bidder

Collecti.com Looks very European

MPTW.com Has a bid of $888 which tells you who’s the bidder

Something about Godaddy auction seems very fishy:
The bids for these 3 domains are unreal: 98119.com 98233.com 98158.com
They are good domains, no doubt, but market value for similar sold names is $2.5 – $5k

If you check the whois you see that these 3 domains are actually OWNED by Godaddy ( ” Godaddy redemption service”) and I suspect they somehow bid up their own names.
    Check it up !
