DSAD.com: Domain Shane’s List of Domains at Auction for Tuesday, Feb 2nd

Feb 02 2016

I am starting to get this feeling that March is going to be special.  There are quite a few reasons for it. One, the US stock market took a hit and I feel that March will lead a comeback. Two, Chinese investors will be in full swing.  Getting past the New Years hangover.  Three spring begins in the US and everyone seems in a much better mood when the weather is better.  Economic trends prove it. The economy comes out of its sleep about then.  I think the same will be for domains.  March to May is going to be fun.  Can’t wait to see what happens.  Everyone has their ideas and we’ll find out who is right.  Nothing super exciting on the board today but there may be a few good prices to be had. Here are today’s domains. Click to see current prices.

PFY.cc 15 years old.  Somebody was ahead of the dot cc craze.  Of course they let it drop so no awards given

PrettyFast.com  No bidders.  Memorable name.  I like it because you’re not saying you’re the fastest.  Just faster than a lot of people

DMHY.net 13 years old.  The price is over 10% of the LLLL.com which tells me a few things

QXXX.net  Same here but pretty cool name.  Maybe there is no correlation, but there should be since there are the exact same number available

BEFA.com Pretty much every decent CVCV.com is going for four figures.  Has been for a while I guess

CCNSS.com I was paying $150 for these, actually worse than this one.  We’ll see if I am making good purchases or not

61725.com  No zeros or 4s so should end up over 5Kish

SFW.cc    A little younger. 7 years old

GRY.cc  Not getting the same love as the above.  At least not yet

BeLocal.com  Several bidders like this one so I like this one.  I like most names that get bids and sell for over $300

ATRW.com   Good Western letters.   You can get this cheaper using the discount code “thishasaVowel”

03873.com  This was a hand reg not too long ago.  Going to go for a little more than $10 today

18671.com  This one is much better but still at a very low price.  Should move up quickly.  Then again I have found some incredible deals this week

339168.com  Ends in 8 and no 4s or zeros means it should be in the $300 plus range right now.  Not too much higher………………..I think

166189.com  $250ish using the DomainShane price guide

9893888.com Only putting up because its getting close to $200.  So it has to be acknowledged whether I like them or not

DHZ.co  Same thing here. I don’t like dot co but its going for over $200 so maybe I should

6718.co  dot co keeps rubbing it in my face

1931.co  This is more like the price I’m expecting.

333.mobi  Ha. A dot mobi getting this high of a price.   Although it is one of the best NNN you can buy.  Setting the top

XBBBX.com   Under $100 at press time.  Cool looking name

788S.com  I am not a fan of NNNL.coms…….unless it has two or more 8s, and then I’m a fan

JJPG.net At $235 which would is close to 10%.  Again, trying to figure out a percentage to trade off of

GGGMC.com and  GMJJJ.com  Two very nice patterned 5Ls up today as well

889008.com, 170300.com, 136808.com  And a couple 6N.com

XT38.com, 82JW.com, BN39.com

GlassSolutions.com  Upgrade name for quite a few companies.  One bidder at $12

LLTTW.com AABBC for $17, last call

868400.com  Under $20 at press time

BS59.com  Another one that is pretty close to reg fee in price

767999.com  Special name coming up for auction tomorrow

Special Domain Shane ONLY Coupon…….. CODE IS DDCDS2015 Good 30% off Discount Domain Club to get the lowest renewal prices Godaddy offers (DDC)

8886988.com   If you are going to buy a 7N it pretty much HAS to have a triple 8 to be of value.  And this has another pair of 8s.   May hit four figures

LUUU.com  The writeup and comments alone are worth the visit.  LUUU is a Chinese name, and he says it 4 or 100 times

Stews.com  It is Stewsday.  I like to eat Stew every Tuesday

9.SE  Interesting name but have to say the comments are a bit weird for a new seller.  People comment positively all the time on super users but not usually on new users names.  Especially when its a dot SE

DrivingSchool.info and 19 other solid dot info Names.    Dot info has a place.  It’s just not as high as it was last year

NoroVirus.com  Big name, Ok website, zero income

C61.com  Nice 3 character name.  May be a bargain depending on reserve

27282.com  Closes today.  Kind of a pattern, if sequential numbers is a pattern

59277.com  The double 7 is going to give this a good final price.  That and the fact it only have 5 numbers

PurpleMarijuana.com Didn’t expect it to be a four figure name

YWM.net, JPZ.net, and YTG.net  Today’s installments of LLL.nets

GeneSequencing.com  Because most people don’t know what Genome Sequencing is

Hwayi.com   Mostly known for the movie but also a Korean first name

LegalCompanies.com    As long as legal names continue pay well these always have value.  CableCompanies.com did very well on Namejet not that long ago

  1. Nameably

Is the title mistaken? Today, is 2nd February.

Anyway, I really like PrettyFast. It would make a nice brand (maybe a seo or sem company).
BeLocal, lot of potential. There is a future trend in search engine searches. Good investment.

    Thanks for the list.

  2. Jen

    PurpleMarijuana.com does not surprise me.

Back in the day, various drugs had colorful names: Blue Cheer, Blue Moons, Strawberry Barrels, Orange Barrels, Rainbow Acid, etc.

People like colors, even drug users.

“the Danmarks Nationalbank will stop internal printing of banknotes and minting of coins in 2016”
The end of cash is on the horizon. Hello 1984. ;(
They want to control your A$$.
Negative interest rates are already in play.
