Domain Spotlight: Domain Shane’s List of Domains at Auction for Monday, Feb 8th Happy New Year

Last call.  That’s been the “word” lately.  Everyone is expecting the Chinese to come storming after they celebrate their New Year and start the buying. I don’t think it will be quite that quick but rather over the course of the spring.  Maybe I’m wrong.  Maybe it starts tomorrow.  Either way its going to be fun to ride along.  And congrats to the Denver fans and Peyton Manning.  You can’t end a career any better than that.  Boring ass game but worth watching just to see Peyton’s last game. Here are todays names. Click to see current prices.  Here’s a fine chip to start your day Pretty special dot net.  More rare than a No bidders.  Sounds sexy and games names have done well in the past.  Games like “find your reading glasses” and “send your niece $18 for her birthday”,,,,  The first group of lesser value LLLL.coms.  More to follow 15 years old.  Yes, its hard to believe this one has been registered that long  Getting bids because of the PR5, 1.5K backlinks, and 13 years old   No bidders.  It’s what they will call a penis enlargement in the future. And they will be prevalent.  If you don’t like this then you definitely don’t like 5L.coms.  This would have hit $500 a month ago before pricing settled  Not sure what I would do with this but no bidders and most employees get them.,,,      Somebody is selling some of their portfolio today.  And they are doing well   When you have this many 8s, even a dot net is going to get you some good money  But I’ll still take the dot com  Everyone is watching the 6N.coms now.  Here is your typical no 4, no zero, double number 6N.   This one has a zero but has the double 7 which gives it a little more zero.  And the 8s  The double numbers are the most valuable,,,,,   A big group of ugly letter awesome CHiP dot nets  48 is actualy good.  This one was going to be undervalued and I was going to try for it but then I realized I don’t have any money right now   Nothing special. My guess here is $125,,,,, and  Here’s your bottom boats,,, and  I’ve been told these go up tomorrow.  These all are under $35 at press time.  Pretty sure they won’t end up there  One bid at $12

Special Domain Shane ONLY Coupon…….. Unfortunately  EVERY girls wheres them  A website but not enough traffic to make the website have value. Still love the name  Sold for $419 on Jan 10th  16 years old with 3 bids at $15.  Anyone who owns a Dubai name dreams of some sheik offering them a few hundred grand for their name because money means nothing to sheiks.  Or at least that is what we think in our dreams

FOR OTHER GREAT NAMES FOR SALE MAKE SURE TO VISIT CAX.COM  A with no 4s or zero.  $5K plus has been the usual ending here  These types of names have been climbing at a faster rate than the rest of the LLLL.coms.  Good western acronym  There is a company operating on the dot net.  No bidders so it may be an easy flip   You’d be surprised how many of these are sold.  Of course the people that buy them hardly ever use them. But they did yesterday.  One bidder  I feel like they would really do well with my dog.  Next up, get a dog ,,   Daily LLL.nets   And you would have probably done well to buy all of these over the last few month.  We’ll talk next year  I’m one.  But the play here is online education and smaller universities paying to attract students   Pretty fantastic And I think First and TwoTwo will agree with me  It’s sister. I would like to own both of these but I think I didn’t leave enough gunpowder in the bank   No bidders.  Not a ton of money and tough to compete with YouTube but some people do like going to a site that has exactly what they’re looking for  For those of you that build quick product sites.   These are used for motorcycles.  No bidders at $69,, and  Here are your bottom boats if you want to buy them   I am not a buyer of 7Ns but again, these are selling and getting good prices so it absolutely worth watching.  Only the triple 8s are selling though  Some of the most expensive real estate in the world    3D printing names sold for a ton, even the dot info.  Get ahead of the next D.  This has a website that ranks first page for the term 4D printing   The 3d space isn’t what it used to be but its still a space

  1. It is naïve to think skilled buyers like Chinese domainers would be that predictable. I am sure there will be some activity over the next week or two. But, it will not be an avalanche in buying.

It will be something Shane knows well – ” Domaining is a marathon, not a sprint”. (Paraphrasing Phil McGraw)

  2. Meyer,

One, I was joking about the immediate rise. People are acting like its going to be a rocket. I know better. And I did get a red envelope but it had what looked to be hair from a drain or something in it. Is that good luck ?

  3. “Skilled buyers like Chinese domainers would be that predictable.” Humans are humans, Chinese or not. I think the majority of Chinese buyers are just following the herd, and there are few ‘skilled’ buyers leading the charge. The problem is that some of these leading the charge have been selling off lately. 4L chips peaked, stalled, lowered, rose a bit, and have plateaued. The boom that happened last year won’t happen again until another emerging market enters the .COM space.

  4. And that emerging market into the DotCom space will likely be from India. Thats my prediction based on the inquires that I am getting for my Brandables!
