Listed below are some notable domain and website sales at Flippa over the past week, as well as a few domains with bids that didn’t hit reserve.
Some domains that sold
LaptopReviews.com – $8,401 – Listed as domain-only, although a site is live (screenshot below). Per the posting, “I am not claiming any current revenue (it’s too small to matter relative to the domain potential) and the traffic of about 250 visitors a day is a pittance compared to what it could be.” 14 year old domain, with an Alexa rank near 1.5 million.
PokerApp.com – $2,501 – Sellers, please don’t lower the reserve to the current pricing level immediately before the auction closes….you’re likely leaving money on the table. Pricing was at $2,500 for this domain, then the seller lowered the reserve to $2,501 with 14 minutes to go in the auction. On top of that, this auction ended on a Sunday morning (US time), which is not ideal.
3-D.net – $1,601 – The .com sold for $4,999 in 2011. Heck, even the .mobi can sell: 3-D.mobi sold for $470 in 2011. The non-hyphenated 3D.com sold for $500,000 back in 2011. All these domains are parked.

Was really surprised Featuring.com didn’t get more movement.
I agree.
Those “ing” verbs are unpredictable. Sometimes they sell for good money (Crafting.com for $51k earlier this year), and sometimes they struggle to get out of the low 4-figures (Taking.com for $7,255, Enriching.com for $2,127, Nearing.com for $1,348, Stepping.com for $2,100, Steering.com for $2,701 — all in 2014). Of course, I’m not suggesting any of these names are an apples-to-apples comparison to Featuring.com.
