IKE’S LIST OF DOMAINS AT AUCTION FOR Saturday, December 9th

Escrow.com

There was a ton of action yesterday with litecoin. The price went from about $100 to almost $200. I’m not sure if it was money moving from profit taking on BTC, normal bull momentum, or if Charlie Lee sent out some tweets. What I do know, is that I’m the worst trader ever. I bet I’m the only idiot in the world that can lose money in a crazy ass bull market.

I caught the middle of the first run and made some decent profit, later in the evening litecoin bulls made another move. It was in breakout, blowing through limit sell orders on GDAX. I was buying into the end of walls of resistance then quick flipping it with a limit order. It was working well and the price kept going up.

Obviously it had to end at some point,  so the idea of buying into the wall  was to take small profits using the momentum and quickly get out of the position. The problem arose when the price reached the mid $190’s. I knew I was pushing my luck, but the buying volume kept coming. I bought into the end of a 4000 coin wall at around $194 and prepared to sell at $199 which I figure was before the next psychological resistance of $200. Well the price did go just over $199, but then fricken GDAX froze up as everyone sold at the same time. My limit order didn’t make it in and the price dropped $50. It did come back up a little but it took all the days profit and then some.

Drew R, told me a few months ago to hold my crypto and not trade it. I didn’t listen, If I had listened I’d probably have about 50 LTC that I bought for around $35 each. But where’s the fun in that?

Here’s  bitcoin brand awareness story that I heard this morning from my friend and co-worker Nathan. Someone asked him what this Bitosin was and why everyone was buying it.  At first he thought she said Pitocin which is a hormone/medication used to induce labor and can also be used to control postpartum hemorrhage. She said again, “no Bitosin, the price is like $16k and everyone is buying it. So he googled it, looking for whatever the hell Bitosin was, be it hormone or something else. He then realized she was talking about Bitcoin, but pronouncing it like Pitocin with a “B” sound.

Crypto currency marketing and mind share has come a long way but apparently the work isn’t finished.

lol .. I actually missed today’s Seal name .. a great alliteration name to boot!
The name I was going to bug you for missing today was Milkshakers .. but seems we both saw/enjoy the same thing there! 😉

  2. Josh I sold off a ton of dash and ethereum when it had went up like 8 bucks back 1.5 yrs ago. I made a few hundred bucks profit. Today it would be over 60k profit had I held it…

I have been doing okay lately, but thinking about that just kills me.
