I discovered Cold Brew Coffee yesterday and it may have changed my life. I’m not even sure where I stumbled across the concept, I never even thought about before. The things that made me interested was the increase in caffeine 🙂 , less bitter taste and reduced acid.
I googled how to make the stuff and found several articles using whole beans, grinding the coffee coarse and letting it brew for at least 12 hours. This process will give you a concentrate that you can add water, heat up like regular coffee or drink over ice.
Well I didn’t have any fancy whole beans or even a grinder, so I just dumped coffee in to a container mixed in water, and let it sit for 12 hours or so. Then I strained out the grounds and poured it over ice. It was delicious even black, smooth, very little bitterness and no indigestion. Apparently there’s also more antioxidants and other cool stuff in cold brew coffee.
So if you’re staying up for days on end searching for domains, try cold brewing a batch of coffee for smooth burst of focus.
In domain related news I’ve sold another 9 .us names on Afternic, since the last time I talked about them. They’re all expired and in redemption, so I have to go into the archive section at Uni. I have to pay the $50 fee to get the name out of redemption and that’s fine since the names sold for $399, but here’s the interesting part; Every time I’ve done this the $50 fee gets refunded immediately. I hesitate to write this, since It may be a “bank error in your favor” moment. If it’s not, it may be helpful to someone that wants to redeem a .us domain at Uniregistry. Just go through the process, check out for around $60 and you only have to pay for the registration.

Have a name at auction and need more exposure? Send me an email. We Charge $10 per name per day. We may be able to help. If you have an auction you want to promote, email us for details.*All names chosen by us, Shane and Josh . (ie you click through and purchase a name you like) or an occasional paid listing. Everything we say is based on our own research or is opinion. Do your own due diligence. That means look it up yourself if you don’t think the stats or our opinion is correct. We hand choose the names but we are paid to make this list by both the auction houses, individuals that are auctioning names, and Godaddy affiliate links. Keep that in mind and only buy names that YOU think are good
You should create some packets of the coffee and call it Ike’s Brew. Open up a Shopify store and sell it. Put up some How To videos on the site. Food concepts are Hot. Keep me in mind when it sells for millions … That or just send me some.
.
Holy Smokes Ike … seriously .. I think I speak for all who care about you … do NOT look for any new ways to increase your caffeine intake! Plus .. there’s no internet connection on the moon just yet, so no way you’ll be able to do your lists if you get any higher on caffeine!
Josh, I reached out to you guys via email a few days ago about having the $10 listing here…is there a different email I should send my question to?
Thanks!
Hi Tom, I tested messages to myself from the contact form, and it was delivered properly. If you want to send the message to me, I’ll make sure it gets to josh.
Tom,
you can always send it to my domainshane gmail addy. I looked in my email and didn’t see anything. I try and respond to every email but I do miss things
Hi Josh — Do you have a page on Afternic (where you list the domains you are selling)?
Cheers, Carl
