IKE’S LIST OF DOMAINS AT AUCTION FOR Saturday, July 14th

Jul 14 2018

Escrow.com

I’ve been taking a closer look at the Godaddy valuation tool in the last few days.

I don’t think it’s horrible. That’s not to say that I’m endorsing it as a tool for pricing your domains, but rather a sort of scoring system.

There’s definitely data points behind the scenes that allow the system to come up with the prices, so if you think of the price as a “score” relative to the rest of the names, it may help you find salable domains.

But the main thing that the price tool is doing is making Godaddy a shit load of money. It still continues that names that paid reg fee for, that I am not going to renew and that have already gone through an auction a few weeks before are selling. I can only assume it has something to do with the new(er) valuation tool.

As a reminder, you can tell if your expired domain sold (without looking in your account to figure out an actual date) by the time of day that the “deletion from your account” email arrives. Currently if the .com domain goes into Redemption (meaning no one bought it at auction or closeouts) the email will arrive around 04:00 eastern time.

Any other time and odds are the name was bought by someone.

Click the links for current prices, most links are commissionable and fund the operation.

Have a name at auction and need more exposure? Send me an email. We Charge $10 per name per day. We may be able to help. If you have an auction you want to promote, email us for details.*All names chosen by us, Shane and Josh . (ie you click through and purchase a name you like) or an occasional paid listing. Everything we say is based on our own research or is opinion. Do your own due diligence. That means look it up yourself if you don’t think the stats or our opinion is correct. We hand choose the names but we are paid to make this list by both the auction houses, individuals that are auctioning names, and Godaddy affiliate links. Keep that in mind and only buy names that YOU think are good
