Last week Paul A. asked in the comment section about my Brandbucket portfolio. He asked how many BB names I have and my total portfolio size. I currently have around 8k .com’s and about 1900 listed on Brandbucket.

Until a month or two ago, my Brandbucket portfolio was somewhere around 1100 names, and had been that way for 4 or 5 years. It produced pretty good income every year and I didn’t have to do anything other than transfer names to the buyer.

A few months ago I figured I’d put the time in and ramp up my BB names. So now there’s another 800 names or so with about 70 still in the editorial phase waiting to be published. I still have several thousand waiting to be approved or rejected.

I figure since it’s working I might as well push forward with vigor. A side benefit is that I don’t have to decide to renew them or not, (as long as I remember to do it). There’s a wholesale market and BB will let you liquidate expired domains rather than let them go to auction or delete.

I’ve added a widget the links to my Brandbucket names it you’re interested. The first half of the names should be the new ones, I think they show up in the order they were published.
