Happy Halloween.

A few months ago I mentioned the movie theater that, right down the street from me, going out of business in the middle of the shut down. Well, a few days ago I bought 10 leather movie theater chairs from the place.

I’m not even sure why I bought them or what I’m going to do with them. I wanted something for nostalgia’s sake, but I didn’t really have a plan for 10 chairs, 2 rows of 5.

I had to go to the theater on “removal” day and unbolt the unwieldy little bastards myself. Then drag them to my truck. I think I’ll have to build some kind of platform, then bolt them to that, who knows.

    1. So the 2 rows of 5 cost me $350 plus the auction fee and taxes, came to around $430 If I remember right. They had unassembled chairs, those auctions ended around $550 for 10 chairs plus auction fees.
