New gTLD Development: Lucra.Cars, STL.Cars, RentCar.Global, MarketPunch.Auto

Below is another look at a few developed sites on the new gTLDs. An automotive theme this week, in consideration of the recent roll-out of .Cars, .Car and .Auto, which are now open for registration. A couple early adopters of those extensions are highlighted below, along with RentCar.Global, which has been a live site since July of last year.

Lucra.Cars

If the car in the screenshot below looks familiar to you, it’s because it’s the type of car that was parked in front of the Tropicana during NamesCon recently.

“Street Legal…But Just Barely. Home of the LC470, custom made production cars with vintage styling.”

These obviously are not your run-of-the-mill cars, and they’ve got a price tag to match; according to this AutoWeek review of the LC470, the base price is $95,000, and the model they tested was $135,000.

STL.Cars

This is the new home of luxury car dealer STL Motorcars, which is based in St. Louis.

“STL Motorcars is your authorized dealer for: Rolls-Royce, Bentley, Aston Martin, Lotus, Lamborghini, and Bugatti.“

A couple new car options currently on their site include a 2015 Aston Martin Vanquish Coupe for $315k, and a 2015 Bentley Flying Spur for $215k. If you’re looking to save a couple bucks with a pre-owned car, they currently have a 2011 Aston Martin Rapide for $115k, a 2013 Bentley Continental Convertible Convertible for $140k, along with many more beautiful rides.

RentCar.Global

This is an additional site for Italy-based car rental company Noleggio Auto, which still has a site live at NoleggioAuto.it. With their .Global domain, they’re expanding beyond their Italian borders, with rental options in dozens of countries.

In so doing our trademark is great services and specialized treatment of our customers.“

MarketPunch.Auto

This domain is an upgrade from the not so radio friendly mktpnch.com.
