Sean here, and I’ve got a FAN-TA-STIC treat for you with today’s Shane For a Day!
Introducing: Jason Sheppard.
When Sean asked me if I wanted to be Shane for a day, my first question was whether it involved getting up at 4:30am and running. Once it was clear that was not one of the requirements, I jumped at the chance to fill in for a day. Shane’s lists and posts have brought me immense value and enjoyment over the years, so I was honored to be asked.
A little background on me: I’m a former nightclub DJ who went full time into domain investing when COVID hit in 2020. I had been doing it part time for a few years at that point and was glad to have something to fall back on during the lockdown. I have about 6500 domains and manage a partnership portfolio of around 1200 names. I am also an instructor at DNAcademy and lead the accelerator classes that get you through the course in a guided manner over the span of eight weeks.
I don’t personally have anything to promote at the moment but a very good friend of mine is selling some of her art on OpenSea to help pay for cancer treatments. Thankfully they caught it in time but she is looking at some hefty out of pocket costs, even with insurance. I’d love it if folks could take a look and if they are moved to buy something, even better. https://opensea.io/MacwellsArt

Jason’s Picks: GoDaddy Names At Auction:
AboutCrypto.com – Sounds like an information site, but what a prime topic. So many people want to get into crypto but don’t know how. This would be a great domain to teach them.
CraftUp.com – Probably my favorite name on the list today. Short and catchy. Hard to misspell and applies to a couple of industries.
OrderLocal.com – Seems like a great way to take the best of what you have locally and share it with a wider audience. And if they can figure out a way to get me Red’s Barbecue from Shelby, NC, they will have a customer for life.
IndexInvesting.com – This doesn’t have as much search volume as I would have thought, but definitely an authoritative domain for that segment of the investment industry.
TotalPassive.com – Everybody wants passive income. Never mind that there is no income that is truly passive. Seems like this would be a good domain to talk about it or sell your strategies and passive income services on though.
TailPipes.com – I like this name for some reason. I see it more as a diner or a bar, not a website for car parts.
FinacialScience.com – I would totally take stock advice from someone using this domain.
RuggedRigs.com – Rig can apply to any number of things and rugged is a great keyword that implies strength and durability.
QuickLister.com – I love this name for a Real estate or online auction tool, but I think there could be other uses too.
BuyerAssistance.com – Get help buying real estate or some other big ticket item.
ClintonInn.com – With over 20 municipalities named Clinton, it seems like there would be a market for this. I love domains with town names that are also first and last names.
CareerMouse.com – Keyword + animal still works, right? Quiet as a mouse is the saying. Maybe this is the site you use for job hunting when you already have one and don’t want your employer to know you are looking.
HockeyFit.com – Could be the latest and greatest training program gimmick. Although I know NOTHING about hockey, I figure you have to be fit to skate that much.
Park.io Names at Auction
ForexTrade.io – Got a big ole bid on it cuz it’s a big ole industry where there’s a lot of money to be made.
TrueLove.io – Reminds me of my favorite Radiohead song. Just a nice sounding, fantastic brand to build on. An open canvas.
Rule.gg – One .gg domain to rule them all. Nice four-letter, one-word brand!
Namejet, Sedo, and Catched.com Names at Auction
Ado.io – “a state of agitation,” could be a good marketing agency brand name. Short and sweet.
Good.finance – This… is how you want your finance to be. WAY BETTER brand than bad.finance. Isn’t that how that Lady Gaga song goes?
Oh-oh-oh-oh-oh, oh-oh-oh-oh, oh-oh-oh
Caught in a bad.finance
Combien.co – How Many (in french). Decent CPA or tax brand maybe.
Lab.de – There’s a bunch of .de names going to auction at Sedo if you’re in to that. Not sure if they shorten the german word for laboratory to “lab,” but if they do, dis a good buy.
Apps.de – Same, but with “apps.”
Hybride.de – same… you get it.
Dire.com – Could be a current events news site, lately…
Zett.com – Four letter, pronounceable. Fun. Killer brand (if it’s not already somebody’s brand. Always do your research).
FashionCity.com – I’m barred for life from fashion city, sadly.
BigMama.com – Sounds like a real fun movie… or a restaurant where I’d want to have my last meal…
MoneyMarketing.com – Great marketing name for “make money online” shills.
