So after months of waiting the deals.xyz auction ended yesterday at $8100.  Two bidders got into a bidding war and took it from $1200 to the final price.  That happens all the time except for one thing.   The auction rules state you merely won the right to buy and if you don’t want to, you don’t have to pay and take the name.  That’s right.  I could bid a million dollars, get the publicity and then walk away.   Sounds like the test auction that auctioneers do at the beginning where they sell the hotel or the building that their having the auction in.  So they way I see it if this sale goes on the record then my purchase of the Fairmont Hotel back in 2012 for 1.2 million is official.  Here are today’s names
