SHANE’S BIG LIST: Saturday’s Domains at Auction or Dropping on the 29th

If you don’t read Aaron’s “Where are they now” posts each week you need to. It’s always interesting to see what people ended up doing with their high priced purchases.  It’s exactly what you think. Some were for existing companies, some built companies, and some built nothing.   And that was for the high priced names.  Imagine how much nothing there is on the junk names.  I’m off to get in a quick 15 miles and head off to work 🙂  Which is nothing for Aaron.  He’s headed off to run THIS today.  Good luck Aaron. That’s a bitch of a run.  Here are today’s names.

“Most people never get there. They’re afraid or unwilling to demand enough of themselves and take the easy road, the path of least resistance. But struggling and suffering, as I now saw it, were the essence of a life worth living. If you’re not pushing yourself beyond the comfort zone, if you’re not constantly demanding more from yourself–expanding and learning as you go–your choosing a numb existence. Your denying yourself an extraordinary trip.”

HiddenOak.com No bidders. 16 years old. These are the types of names that make great brands. You just have to wait until someone else thinks so

Sleezebag.com Haven’t heard the term used in a while. Probably since 1999 when it was registered. No bidders

UODO.com A lot of vowels, 12 years old, likes long walks on the beach

UAHA.com I actually like this one better because I like LLLL.coms that end in A

OUUO.com All Vowels, a palindrome, and would have hit big bucks 4 years ago.

GetInHere.com Good advertising domain. Only one bidder

WUFA.com Great CVCV. In the price range I think it should sell for. Still some room to run.

BlackVine.com Another nice brand. Red Vines are delicious but I prefer Twizzlers

Featured Offer – $2.99 .coms now at GoDaddy! Now through 7/9/2013!

Gaymart.com There is/was a gaymart down on Halsted in Chicago. I used to walk bi it every day. I wasn’t curious enough to stop in.

GPSRunningWatch.com  I use one every day.  The new ones are $300

PotStrainer.com  For you chefs – a product for keeping your food in the pot, and getting the water out.  But if I have to tell you that I’m guessing you’re really not a chef

DomainNameLeasing.com   Haven’t heard much about this lately

InActive.com   I’m not but most are

DisposableClothing.com   Also known as Old Navy

Make sure to visit Vin’s Domains. He has some great names for sale

  1. Almost every major buildout that I sell on Flippa for $10K plus is left for months and months untouched! You will be shocked at how true this is. It is mindboggling! Even straight domain sales, I have a list and I will go back after a year and many times the name that I sold for $500 bucks has been dropped and is available for hand-registration! Its all in the salesmanship…part of what you are selling them is the dream!

  2. Thanks Shane for the kind words.

It was indeed a bitch of a run. However, the weather, people and scenery were beautiful, and I’ll be back again next year.
