Well another year is ending. I ended up with more and better quality names in my portfolio and had more money than I started the year with. That’s good enough for me. We’ll call it a success and we’ll try it again in 2014. It’s been a pleasure everyone. Here are today’s names.
Trillion.com A billion isn’t anything anymore. Trillion is the new goal.
WFM.com Great letters. Make a nice acronym and one of my favorites over the last week. 15 years old
ASZ.com Same age, not scared of the Z but not best friends with it either
GrubGuide.com 13 years old. Replace food with guide and save yourself $10,000 plus
Sumz.com Getting a lot of attention. I like it doesn’t bring any business idea to mind.
MNSO.com Perfect letters for an acronym. Terrible if you’re trying to get points in Scrabble
EvilSugar.com No bidders. I happen to love sugar but do agree it’s evil
92J.com These seem to have risen by 25% over the last year (NNL.coms) . Not sure why this one is at $1500 (at press time) but I imagine it will go even higher
UMMW.com Good buy under $50 IMO
PushStarter.com Not as aggressive as a kick, just a little push. No bids but I may put in a bid a little later if I get a little crazy later.
This is for an $8.49 domain renewal and $3.99 privacy. Has worked for a while and still works. Also good for $7.50 dot org renewal gdbb776

ShortTermJobs.com I think there would be a market for this
NameCircle.com Decent name for a domain company
WaterProofCover.com No bids. Lots of ads. For car, furniture

I’m glad that I picked up grubby.com back a few weeks ago. An infinitely better name than “grub hub,” or even “grub guide.”
Thanks Shane for your daily auction drop list.
Thanks Shane, you made me alot of money again this year! Do you think your total profits were higher in 2013 than in 2012?
Thank you Hugh and Mike for the kind words. My profits were less than half of what they were in 2012. But there is a good reason. I put a lot more attention in the nursery. That lead to several hundred thousand dollars more in profit. I can make a hundred K in a good year in domaining and my websites, but I can make half a million at the nursery. it’s an easy decision. Eventually I will roll the two in together and sell on line and make millions per year. One step at a time. That being said, it was an amazing year
