I’ve been working with a team to figure out how search can be improved within the domain space. Especially the brandables sites. The two people I’m working with are brilliant people and have been in the space for a long time. Before it was called AI. I see all kinds of things labeled AI but they’re no better than regular search. Everyone is using AI but only a few REALLY know how to use AI. If you notice the results of a call/search on most sites the return is pretty rough. There is one exception and its not because they use AI. Brandbucket
Brandbucket spends a lot of time on each name assigning keywords to every listing. My name Monkeywrench would not come up for mechanic under normal search because the keywords aren’t there. Brandbucket put mechanic, motors, tinker, cars, etc in the meta section so that it would show up in all the results that are relevant. The result is a robust variety of results that give you great options when searching for a name. AI can do this on its own. It has to learn it but with time it should get better and better. Ours isn’t done yet but should be better than what’s out there when its finished. The MVP won 3rd place in a hackathon so it has legs. Its a fun process and look forward to letting everyone in on a test run
