Shane’s Daily List of Domains at Auction for Friday, August 5th, 2022

I took a break from everything in June in July. Meaning I only worked on a few projects beside the nursery instead of 10. And it felt like a vacation. Caught up on some TV shows. Went and saw all my family. Started buying domains again and the big thing. Started training for a marathon in the fall. It’s a lot of early mornings. The running is easy, it’s the getting up at 4:30 six days a week that’s tough. I’ve decided that next summer I am going to do some half Ironmans. I need to mix things up. Get on a bike. Get in the water. I want to start biking and swimming again but the full Ironman was brutal. I think I can crush a half. It’s only a mile and I can get through 52-mile bike pretty well too. I also can run a half marathon in my sleep. I do it once or twice a week.

It’s amazing how competitive the 50 year old age group is. Evidently there are thousands of men just like me. Still think they are young. People call us type A but what we really are are people who like struggle. Because struggling for an hour in the morning makes the other 23 seem easy. It also makes me a nicer person by clearing the mind and the body. I’d love to make it to Kona for the World Championships but I’m just not that good. I don’t see how I’ll ever be that good. But that’s next year. Let’s get through this year first.

    1. Looks like the WHOIS update date is from yesterday – maybe it got transferred to Dynadot and removed from auction.
