Shane’s Daily List of Domains at Auction for Friday, December 17th, 2021

So the AD part of DSAD came to visit me in Urbana. Aaron is the Accidental Domainer and we made DSAD by combining Domain Shane and the Accidental Domainer into one blog. Thus making DSAD. We added Josh to write the list and Travis to handle the tech side of it. Eventually Aaron became too busy to write and we weren’t making any money so he handed over the reigns to Travis and Josh. But he’ll always be my business partner. He’s been living his best life and is crushing it in domains. Like me, we keep our real jobs even though we really don’t have to. Actually if anyone looked at what we make in our other ventures, they would tell us we were stupid for putting our time into our real jobs and should concentrate on just our side businesses. But we both agreed we love our jobs and we’ll keep doing it until we don’t. I feel that I concentrate much better when I know I have a limited amount of time to do it. That if I had another 8 hrs a day I don’t know that I would get that much more accomplished. I see the full time domain investors. They goof around in discord and chit chat all day. They aren’t really working a full day. I goof around on Twitter and that’s my fun and games of the day.

But it was great to see him and I instantly remember why I loved having him as a partner. Loved hearing how well his year went and his runs. He’s an ultra runner and I am awed with his toughness on those long runs. He’s awed by my times in the marathon but I secretly know if he wanted to beat my times he could. But I might be able to catch him on the long run if I could move to Colorado and get in some altitude training. It’s not going to happen so I’ll pretend I could if I could. It’s too bad he lives so far away in Colorado but thankful his family lives close to me so we can catch up. Highlight of my month
