Shane’s Daily List of Domains at Auction for Friday, February 12th, 2021
Some are going to say I’m old fashioned, others are going to say I am not adopting, but I have been listening to the clubhouse talks and auctions and its both amazing and scary. I am watching newbies spend quite a bit of money on names they have no chance of selling. I’ve seen just as many say that they don’t buy names to resell , they buy to build it out. Which experienced domain investors know will never happen. Clubhouse is evolving, and definitely involving, but it has a ways to go. It’s also repetitive when it comes to guiding. I think I’ve been in 10 rooms giving domain advice that while great advice, has now been said every day for 2 straight weeks. There are also people front and center as the Clubhouse faces of domain investing. I give kudos to those that are doing it. It’s a new platform and each platform has its new stars. In the non Clubhouse world we know who the stars are and to this point I see them in the room, generally not leading it. Perhaps that’s a new role. Organizers of great rooms. Not necessarily being the top dog but putting a room together of top dogs. That’s a model. I see that as a real opportunity. That would be an honest and real role if people wanted to accept it. The Molly’s Game of Clubhouse domain rooms. PS My Ford stock to BTC play is getting slaughtered. But this isn’t a day thing, this is a year thing
