Escrow.com

When I am writing a text or email I write it like its going to be made public at some point. I always tell my kid “write it like its going on the billboard at the Super Bowl halftime show. I do because it could. I keep all “don’t tell anyone” info to a phone call or in person. Sure a phone call could be recorded but its a much harder process and illegal in many places. I do this because I have employees. Employees that get mad ,share texts. I had one put one of my texts up on Facebook a few years ago. While it wasn’t terrible, it still wasn’t a good look for me. I should never talk down to anyone and in this text I was. I knew to use better sense and generally do ,but from that point on I assume it will be made public.

I still say things that would not make people very happy but I try and say things that I stand behind. That wouldn’t be embarrassed of down the road if it came out. I still mess up too often but every year is better than the last. I even give myself a kindness score every day to help remind myself to be better. I sure as Hell am glad that my 20 year old self didn’t have text or email to be recorded. It probably would have been ugly.

I actually have quite a few emails sent to other people that said some bad things about me over the last few years. Some people that are nice to me in person but said some rough stuff about me privately. Not sure why people send them to me with “I thought you should know” but I do appreciate it. It lets me know that someone is being fake with me. I have never called anyone out because I don’t want to cause a problem between the person that sent it to me and the person that said it. That and I want to show grace. I want to become a person that they like and respect and not someone they say bad things about. I’m not looking to be liked, but I would prefer to not be disliked. I also feel we all say things about people we don’t really know in moments. Judging them on Internet actions that we don’t have full info on. Very few people really know each other in our industry. We know their character they play on the Internet. It takes years and hours of conversation to really to get know someone. Even then it involves trust and assumption and that’s hard to give. But you should and I do. I just try to not put it in an email and text when I don’t.

Have a name at auction and need more exposure? Send me an email. We Charge $10 per name per day. We may be able to help. If you have an auction you want to promote, email us for details.*All names chosen by us, Shane and Josh . (ie you click through and purchase a name you like) or an occasional paid listing. Everything we say is based on our own research or is opinion. Do your own due diligence. That means look it up yourself if you don’t think the stats or our opinion is correct. We hand choose the names but we are paid to make this list by both the auction houses, individuals that are auctioning names, and Godaddy affiliate links. Keep that in mind and only buy names that YOU think are good.
