Tan Tran. Remember him? He started and ran Pheenix and FreshDrop. I called him out from day one. The first reason was FreshDrop was double dipping. He was charging people to use his service and then using affiliate codes to make money on their visits. Not illegal but at the time he didn’t let people know they were getting hit with affiliate cookies. That actually may have been illegal. And every time I questioned him at the conferences he gave me the Rob Monster style of talk about nothing and around in circles until I gave up. It’s a tell tale sign that something was amiss.
Then came Pheenix. I didn’t care about the services, the results, or the build. I knew who was behind it and that it would not end well. I am not going to say I am 100% perfect when it comes to meeting someone and doing a little background check and then getting a handle on them. Some times I’m wrong. Most times I am not. I didn’t trust Mr. Tran and didn’t like his businesses. Now they are both gone. Or will be soon. Thankfully I don’t think anyone lost any real money in his disappearance. And thankfully most of the services and businesses left standing in our industry are legit. Probably because all the funny money is now over in crypto
Speaking of which. I’m back into NFTs. I am in the process of buying a few pieces. I’ll let you know which series I’m buying once I’ve bought them. I’m heavy into QTUM right now and don’t want to sell it. Trying to figure out what will rise quicker. The pieces or QTUM. Right now I’m still in QTUM
Quote of the Day:
Domain of the Day: 1884.com One of my favorite years. Because LaMarcus Adna Thompson opened “Gravity Pleasure Switchback Railway”, one of the earliest roller coasters, at Coney Island, New York City that year

Have a name at auction and need more exposure? Send me an email. We Charge $10 per name per day. We may be able to help. If you have an auction you want to promote, email us for details.*All names chosen by us, Shane and Josh . (ie you click through and purchase a name you like) or an occasional paid listing. Everything we say is based on our own research or is opinion. Do your own due diligence. That means look it up yourself if you don’t think the stats or our opinion is correct. We hand choose the names but we are paid to make this list by both the auction houses, individuals that are auctioning names, and Godaddy affiliate links. Keep that in mind and only buy names that YOU think are good.
