Shane’s Daily List of Domains at Auction for Monday, April 26th, 2021

Tan Tran. Remember him? He started and ran Pheenix and FreshDrop. I called him out from day one. The first reason was FreshDrop was double dipping. He was charging people to use his service and then using affiliate codes to make money on their visits. Not illegal but at the time he didn’t let people know they were getting hit with affiliate cookies. That actually may have been illegal. And every time I questioned him at the conferences he gave me the Rob Monster style of talk about nothing and around in circles until I gave up. It’s a tell tale sign that something was amiss.

Then came Pheenix. I didn’t care about the services, the results, or the build. I knew who was behind it and that it would not end well. I am not going to say I am 100% perfect when it comes to meeting someone and doing a little background check and then getting a handle on them. Some times I’m wrong. Most times I am not. I didn’t trust Mr. Tran and didn’t like his businesses. Now they are both gone. Or will be soon. Thankfully I don’t think anyone lost any real money in his disappearance. And thankfully most of the services and businesses left standing in our industry are legit. Probably because all the funny money is now over in crypto

Speaking of which. I’m back into NFTs. I am in the process of buying a few pieces. I’ll let you know which series I’m buying once I’ve bought them. I’m heavy into QTUM right now and don’t want to sell it. Trying to figure out what will rise quicker. The pieces or QTUM. Right now I’m still in QTUM

Quote of the Day:

Domain of the Day: One of my favorite years. Because LaMarcus Adna Thompson opened “Gravity Pleasure Switchback Railway”, one of the earliest roller coasters, at Coney Island, New York City that year

Remember to click the links to see the current prices and if you are going to pay for a name do it while visiting It pays for the gas to run the ship. Names at Auction or Available for Pickup I see blockchain here This one is hard to put a price on A lot of money in yearbooks I think this goes well with dot gg. But other than crypto names I’m not sure the secondary market is mature here The left is much stronger than the right

Namejet, Sedo, and Names at Auction Ends this morning . One bid at $79 Like the flow and sound of this name. And it is a female name. No bids, no reserve Has a nice opening bid Not everyone in the world has one. Too many don’t. But this is probably going to concentrate on selling them to those that do Might as well get some bedding to go with it No reserve at $79. I would much rather have this than Super. AI dot IO would be my second choice for tlds on this name Love it as a versatile brand As we move to EV this will become a passion for some

Godaddy Domains With Bids German for “heating” and also a family name Hand made by non shaving people Sounds pretty legit right out of the box Taken in 21 extensions which shows its popularity in use The name of my rehab/massage place. They have a much longer dot com. Taken in 80 extensions Top number of bids on the Godaddy board. Not a great name but its a good one. Good name for a site that helps you get quality reviews. Taken in 8 extensions Because you know that online Bingo is going to explode. No skill required, just like slots Godaddy has it valued at $4K which is middle to high for a 4L based on other Godaddy valuations Marketing or new brandable domain site
