I decided in April to start stepping up my game. For four months I purposefully did nothing. Did what I want, when I want. It was great. But I have to have structure. I was starting to get bored. So I started going through my domain portfolio. Writing a little more. Setting up calendars and goals. Two days into it I’ve sold 4 domains and had some great things happen. I think it’s 100% chance it came at the start of the month. Or people decided the same as me, to start things at the beginning of the month.
One very odd thing is a huge amount of Godaddy commissions came through on April 1st. Its like they held them back because they know they don’t pay out until 60 days later. That if they were in the last of the month they would have to be paid in April. I can’t prove they held them back but there were too many to be chance. They had missed paying their commissions before because they didn’t pay the affiliate manager. Of course, they didn’t tell us. They just didn’t send out payments.
We rely on Godaddy commissions to fund our time. We have no rights and have to take what we get. But my guess if the whole program was publicly audited you would be amazed at what is happening over there. Enough negative. The month is starting off great and I hope the entire year keeps the trajectory.
Half of the Godaddy names with bids are for their backlinks. Once you get rid of those not a lot of raw names today. Always a gem to be found though
