Shane’s Daily List of Domains at Auction for Monday, February 13th, 2023

One of the things that I have been reminded of since I retired from the nursery. Some times its good to change things up. Since I’ve left my brother has remodeled the nursery and revamped a bunch of things that I hadn’t done. It think its going pretty well. Often a big change is needed to make things better. To wake people up or to provide an opportunity to change. A case of “well if we’re already going to be doing these changes we might as well do all of them”. The nursery was never about me. It’s its own entity. So if it’s going better without me then I love that. When I told my wife that things were going great and they’re finally getting some things done so asked if that bothered me. I told her as an owner of a business you want to see it succeed. With you or without you, all that matters is it does well. Being in the same role for 28 year I undoubtedly loss that drive that may be needed. I had nothing to prove. The new managers do. They want to prove they can do a better job. That is great for the company. Great for me. It means I can live my best life and not worry that my time and investment is going bad.

Part of getting older is realizing that you can get as much enjoyment from watching people you care about succeed or have fun as if you were doing it yourself. You learn this with kids. They teach you that you are no longer #1. They are. My daughter getting your PhD at Princeton is like me getting it there. I am so proud and happy and I really didn’t do anything but raise her. Her success is my success. The same goes for friends. I love to watch them be happy and do great things. I feel like I was a part of their journey and take pride that they are my friend and I am theirs. Once you get to that point. Where you worry less about yourself, life become amazing. So many more things to be happy and excited about. Instead of deriving from your actions. You get to derive it from a dozen people. Makes the day better. More enjoyable.

Here are today’s names. Feel free to buy a few. Godaddy isn’t paying very much any more so we’re turning back into a passion project. 😀

Domain of the Day: Great crypto swap name. As good as UniSwap or Sushiswap

Quote of the Day: “Life is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance, you must keep moving.” -Albert Einstein

Namejet, Sedo, and Names at Auction $373 per month in parking. Not sure how long it would hold but price is at one month rev Can the domain overcome the tld? Taken in 461 tlds. Which is about as many as you can have Don’t see dot ninja getting any action but gets some traffic and has a few decent backlinks Play the anti AI route Has a $250,000 bid but looks like another one of those bids that is right below reserve. You see that all the time at Sedo and Namejet No reserve. A town in the Netherlands but results are for Dutch town and acronyms Table soccer. No reserve. I’m sure you’ve seen the game. I always get in trouble for spinning players too fast I think IndustryX would definitely meet reserve. Not sure on this one Mucho take it easy Fab or fabulous being the driver. Sounds like a rapper or crypto guy. No reserve Because I don’t think every piece of AI software has to have AI in the title

Mr.Domains I figure someone in our industry would like it Top keyword. Tld is not to top Cool looking acronym. Even better it has no reserve Reserve is over $2500 but I think it can get there Seller finally gave up and took off the reserve. Thank goodness have been some names on Namejet on there for months Look at this bid. Can’t believe it hasn’t met reserve Isn’t online redundant? You would think so but so many names sell with the word Online in them Speaking of online No reserve and not a bad opening for a woman A good buildout for helping people name their company and then you put affiliate codes to the registrars and logo makers, website makers etc You know I like this one. Reserve is too high though Very nice letters but only taken in 12 extensions so could stay cheap

Godaddy Domains With Bids Doesn’t really excite me but taken in 44 extensions and Godaddy values it at $7K and those do exicite me Taken in 22 extensions and great CPC here I believe you. I just doin’t believe English is your native language Taken in 12 extensions. I think it sells as an acronym. Not because its Hot Sounds so official. Backlinks probably still the driver Valued at $10K and may actually get there Obviously a huge category and the dot org makes it sound official “What the Fuck Barry?” Stack and Solidity Engineer site Surprisingly taken in 15 extensions. And Godaddy has a 4K valuation. Bidders no where close You know some Type A will want this Like it as a decentralized lending platform All in one packages of vitamins and supplements Perfect biotech company name I feel like there is going to be a lot of welding involved

Godaddy with One Bid or Fewer
