Shane’s Daily List of Domains at Auction for Monday, November 25th, 2024

I went to a few shopping centers this past weekend and if you think holiday sales will be down you’re crazy. Its not even Thanksgiving weekend yet and there wasn’t parking within 5 blocks of major retailers in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York. It’s like the good old days. I know people are still shopping online but they were showing up in the brick and mortar stores as well.

Wal-Mart had record earnings and Target had miserable earnings a few days ago. This isn’t Christmas shopping but I wanted to touch on it. Target positioned itself as a little more upscale but it’s Target. Nobody is looking for upscale at Target and chose to go to places with better deals like Walmart. They blame it on the economic environment but hard to say that when everyone else crushed. I think there is some opportunity in retail right now because of the Target results and the impact it had on other retailers. Target just plain did it wrong.

I don’t base all my investments on parking lots but I do feel we’re going to have a good holiday season on clothing and items under $1000. Take that for whatever you feel that’s worth.

PS: Airlines as well. Record levels of travelers and fuel isn’t crazy expensive. I think we are undervaluing a few of the airlines

Have a name at auction and need more exposure? Send me an email. We Charge $10 per name per day. We may be able to help. If you have an auction you want to promote, email us for details. All names were chosen by us, Shane, Travis, and/or Josh . Everything we say is based on our research or is opinion. Do your due diligence. That means look it up yourself if you don’t think the stats or our opinion is correct. We hand choose the names but we are paid to make this list by both the auction houses, registrars, and individuals that are auctioning names. Keep that in mind and only buy names that YOU think are good.
