Shane’s Daily List of Domains at Auction for Sunday, September 5th, 2021

Success breeds success. My daughter’s former High School canceled their season because they couldn’t field a competitive football team. To the point that everyone on the team was Freshman and Sophomore and many had never started a football game in High School. And this was a team that went 0-10 last year and got beat regularly by 5 touchdowns. The school is half black and half rich white kids . Not much in the middle. None of them wanted to play on a team and get their ass kicked. Even though they definitely have enough talent to field a team they don’t want to be called losers by their classmates and chose not to play.

It works the opposite. The cross country teams are now kids deep. When my daughter was a freshman there were 15. But the Jr High team had a good group of runners and won state. So the Jr High had a huge turnout because people wanted to be part of a great team. Even if they weren’t the fast ones on the team. When they got to High School the High School team became good and the team got better every year. At least the cross country and distance teams did and started competing for individual and team championships. All because of the timing of a few good athletes joining the team.

That’s how things work. People want to be part of success. They chase it. That’s NFTs right now. It’s the hot team. People see champions making money. This NFT team is going to win some championships over the next few years and while domain investing will continue, it’s not the sexy money right now. You can play on both teams. That’s the beauty here. But I guarantee you’re going to get sucked into NFTs and not pay as much attention to domains so be careful. Don’t let your football team fall apart while you’re running for NFTs.

  1. Just watched the latest Rabbit hole…great and exciting stuff!

NFTs just feel right…like buying .coms 25 years ago 🙂

  2. Shane, you just need 1 big win. I made over 5 Million in BTC, all luck got in 2012, sold a little early at 42K but all good. Had a few friends make between 10-20 million.

NFT is a bubble, just need to know when to get out, like all bubbles. I learned the hard way in 2008 housing crash. History does repeat itself and this time is not different.

I have 4 kids, 2 in college, and 2 in HS, your right things change every few years. Just cringe on kids not playing sports and playing video games.

Roll Tide!!!! Looking good brother. Nobody is taken them down this year.

    1. Kenny, if you got hurt in the 2008 housing crash you were overleveraged. All my assets are worth more now than then and the ones I added during the crash are up 4X. Everything crashes at some point. That’s why you always have to have dry powder.

As far as kids. I’ve never seen so many teams playing soccer as I did at the fields this weekend. Don’t cringe, lead the way

      1. Yes I was overleverage big time during house crash and learned from that mistake Made up for it on a big BTC win.

My 2 kids in HS play field hockey and volleyball. My 2 kids in college one did gymnastics in HS and one is on scholarship at your rival Auburn in lacrosse. So always lead the way.

Take care Shane have a nice day.
