I ate McDonalds for the first time in a decade. I do eat McDonalds but pretty much only the Egg McMuffin. I feel like its one of the healthier choices for breakfast when on the road. But I haven’t had a burger in forever. If I ever cheat its a Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger from Wendy’s and I’ve had 2 in 10 years. But they were damn good. But back to my McDonalds.
It’s a known fact that fast food restaurants are struggling to find employees. Its really starting to show. The service is getting awful. Actually its the service you expect for $9 an hour. I went to Subway and it was horrific. So bad I couldn’t take it after 20 minutes and had to leave. I had to be back in 30 minutes and it left one place. McDonalds. So I got a new Southern chicken, small fries, cheeseburger. It was delicious. I won’t lie. I forgot how good their fries were. But the results were a little rough. One. I was still hungry. Not sure why but it left me wanting more food. And it didn’t fill very long. Two, my stomach didn’t feel great. I eat red meat about once a month and while small, the cheeseburger didn’t sit well. And finally, middle of the night runs. Not all night but had to make a quick run at 2 am. All because of one lunch. I felt fine the next day but I’m thinking my stomach just wasn’t use to all the grease. All that being said I can’t wait to eat it again. I think I need to build up my resistance.
