It’s pretty well known that I bought a few Bored Apes. To date I haven’t sold one. But I put my least favorite for sale at 55 eth and said I wouldn’t take it down. That I would let it sell if prices came to that. Well they are there. At the time of this writing there were only 18 apes out of 10,000 that were priced less. It may be sold by the time this publishes. That would be a 2 Eth to 55 Eth profit and of course Eth was 40% less than it is now. It’s a good return. About $220,000 return. And I have two left. The crazy part is I have people that want to trade me domains for it. Usually they are junk but this last few weeks I have been offered million dollar enduser, one word dot coms. Recently two very very good dot coms. But the point of me selling is to take some money off the table. I took $50K off by selling a mutant that was given free. I still have all the rest, 5 dogs, 2 apes. Total cost on the balance almost $2000. I still think there is tremendous opportunities and domains. Maybe more money to be made than any point in time. As evidenced by this week. NFT prices have skyrocketed. You could have had a Doodle on Friday for an Eth and now they are almost 2. Where else can you double your money in 5 days? It’s crazy. Well, wish me luck. I could be less one ape when you read this.

In your experience, when a creator of NFTs partners with a well-known artist for the illustrations, does their chances of hitting a home run increase exponentially?
Any any business or project the success can be determined by the talent behind it. In the case of NFTs the art is the focus so having an artist that people like is super helpful. I think the homerun is the business team behind it. Their marketing and future ideas. But often the art just is cool and it runs because of that.
