3. NewsNow.com sold for $88,800
This was an upgrade from NewsNow.co.uk, which is where the domain is redirected. “NewsNow.co.uk is the UK’s first and leading home-grown and independent news aggregation service. Fully-automated, and on a continuous basis, NewsNow displays breaking headlines linking to news websites all around the world.”
4. Bink.com sold for $80,000
Based in the UK, they describe themselves as, “A brand new free app which automatically collects your loyalty points & rewards without the need to show your loyalty cards at the till! ” The company has raised over $10 million in funding. They’re also the traffic leader for the week, with their Alexa rank near 1.6 million.
5. Inquisitive.com sold for $70,000
A simple lander that says “inquisitive” is live, and the owner is under privacy protection.
6. Corked.com sold for $60,000
I expected wine, but it’s aromatherapy. Based in Minnesota, “The Corked portable aromatherapy delivery system will vaporize unique blends of vitamins and oils for a new-age approach to the soothing practice of aromatherapy.” The site has an Alexa rank near 2.3 million.
7. Opleiding.nl sold for $55,000
The domain appears to translate to “education” in Dutch, and per Google Translate, “If you are looking for a training or training for or next to your work then education.nl is your ideal online study guide. Here you will find a complete overview of all the training and training you need for your work. From fully recognized MBA, HBO and Master’s programs to short-term modules and trainings.“
8. Cloudlet.com sold for $50,000
No site resolves.
9. Jean.com sold for $48,000
A simple ‘under development’ site is live. The owner has a Nate.com email address, and that domain hosts a Korean language site.
