Listed below are updates to the top 10 domain sales from a year ago, as ranked by DN Journal.

1. 458.com sold for $140,000

Domain is parked and under privacy protection.

2. BlueStar.com sold for $90,000

A service for used car inspections prior to purchase, “BlueStar is a technology-based online platform and network of nationwide certified mechanics that come together to reduce the risk associated with buying a used car.” Lots of details on the sales process for this domain can be found here. Alexa rank near 2.4 million.


3. Olife.com sold for $80,000

This is interestingly owned by Overstock.com, but no site resolves.

4. BroadSpectrum.com sold for $75,000

This domain was part of a rebrand from Transfield Services in October of last year, “We are pleased to announce that our shareholders voted to approve our new Company name, Broadspectrum Limited (Broadspectrum), at our Annual General Meeting on 28 October 2015.

5. HumanEdge.com sold for $40,000

The domain currently redirects to ThePremierGroup.com, a recruiting firm, so a rebrand may (?) be in the works.


5. SexShows.com sold for $40,000

You get what you would expect at this developed site. Alexa rank near 24 million.

7. WMD.com sold for $37,500

A Chinese language ‘under development’ placeholder is live.

8. TPay.com sold for $36,000

The traffic leader for the week, with its Alexa rank near 120,000. An online payment provider, “Online Payment System belongs to Krajowy Integrator Płatności Inc. The company’s mission is to introduce and promote innovative payment methods and solutions ensuring maximum speed and safety of online transactions.


9. TopHot.com sold for $35,000

This appears to be largely a gossip site, with its articles about Johnny Depp, Taylor Swift and more.


10. IndustrialHeat.com sold for $22,500

Domain is parked, and owned by an individual that also owns IndustrialHeat.co. The .co doesn’t resolve.
