1. Due.com sold for $130,000

This was picked up by internet entrepreneur John Rampton, and he’s developing an invoice and time tracking company behind the domain. “We make it easy to get paid online. Our customers love how we make payments easier, faster and smoother.” Alexa rank near 160,000. Flippa did a nice follow-up interview with the owner regarding the Due.com business and the domain, where he said in part, “When I get introduced as the founder and CEO of Due.com, people think we’ve been in business for 10-15 years just because of the domain.” The entire article is worth a read.

2. Mercari.com sold for $108,000

This domain was an update from MercariApp.com, and the site is the traffic leader for the week, with an impressive Alexa rank near 12,000. It’s a mobile shopping app that was initially launched in Japan, but was introduced to the US near the end of 2014. “Mercari provides a hassle-free and secure way to buy and sell items straight from your mobile device or tablet.

3. SportsMarket.com sold for $65,000

This is the home of a sporting goods chain with many bricks & mortar locations in Dubai. “Sports Market is a multi-brand sports store that houses the most popular lifestyle and sports brands such as Nike, Adidas, Puma, Timberland, Vans, The North Face, Columbia and many more.”

4. Lab360.com sold for $40,000

Based in California, “Lab360 is established to support the smart hardware ecosystem. We believe the internet is more than a flat screen and are excited to support inventors and innovators in shaping tomorrow’s technology.” “Lab360 is supported by Qihoo 360 (NYSE: QIHU), one of the largest internet companies in China.”

5. NLF.com sold for $33,700

This is the first of five LLL.com domains, each of which is owned by a Chinese individual or company. In each case, the domain is either parked or does not resolve.

Unlike the five above, this one went to an end user, and at a reasonable price. UWK in this case stands for UnderWater Kinetics, and the domain is an upgrade from UWKinetics.com. The company “makes products to meet the needs of diverse markets such as Industrial, Utility, Fire, Dive, and Outdoor”, such as flashlights, cases, and knives.
