Listed below are updates to the top 10 domain sales from a year ago this week, as ranked by DN Journal.
1. PAX.com sold for $200,000
This was an upgrade from PaxVapor.com, which is where Pax.com is redirected. The company has raised over $45 million in funding. “At PAX Labs, Inc., we are leading the vaporization movement with our innovative, premium vaporizers, PAX and JUUL.”
2. H6.com sold for $115,500
A for-sale lander is live, and the domain is owned by an individual in China.
3. 9555.com sold for $102,000
A parked page is live; owned by an individual in China.
4. RYB.com sold for $50,000
Another parked page; owned by an individual in China.
5. BYN.com sold for $25,300
No site resolves; owned by the same individual as RYB.com, above.
6. Admio.com sold for $20,000
No site resolves; owned by the folks behind Bexio.com, a German language site offering small business software solutions.
7. BioHotels.com sold for $16,500
The traffic leader for this week’s paltry group of developed sites, with an Alexa rank near 14 million. The site currently offers hotel options in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, and the domain is an upgrade from BioHotels.de.
8. BuyShares.com sold for $15,900
The domain was a great flip for the seller (interview here), but I believe the buyer overpaid and will be sitting on this one for awhile, or selling for a loss. They’ve put the name back up for sale on Flippa a time or two, but I don’t believe the auctions have gained any traction.
9. EasyVisa.com sold for $15,000
No site resolves, and the owner is under privacy protection.
9. FZV.com sold for $15,000
Domain is parked.
And that, my friends, was a depressing set of domains for this week’s update!
