Listed below are updates to the top 10 domain sales from a year ago this week, as ranked by DN Journal.
1. RSS.com for $135,000
- Sold by Ron Sheridan, who had picked up the domain in 2009 for $125,000. The new owner is under privacy protection, but has an RSS feed reader site live. Traffic leader for the week, with an Alexa rank near 185,000.
2. VideoShop.com for €35,000 = $46,200
- Domain is parked.
3. LightArt.com for $32,000
- “LightArt, a division of 3form, is a lighting fabrication and design studio based in Seattle’s Georgetown neighborhood. ” Pretty slick video they have, which is embedded underneath the screenshot below.
4. Beaute.fr for $23,298
- Parked domain, owned by beauty behemoth L’Oreal, a multi-billion dollar company.

6. SHRS.com for $18,500
- They need to talk to their webmaster……the only thing that resolves is “…not a valid subdomain“, yet the Meta title is “SMART Modular, Technologies”. Owned by that company, which currently resides on SmartM.com.
7. TXO.com for $18,000
- A placeholder is live, yet Whois shows the domain is owned by a “Kevin Domains”. It’s either an elaborate page to avoid any TM violations, or they lease the domain, or something else that I’m not thinking of…… their ‘Services’ page says, in part, “TXO seeks to obtain approximately 70,000 acres of leasehold in emerging resource plays and will arrive well ahead of the energy industry pack.”
8. Syndic.fr for $17,160
- Translates to ‘Trustee’ from French, and a rough translation of the site shows a discussion of different types of ownership, contract management, etc.
9. EasyOnline.com for $15,000
- No website resolves.
10. KH.org for $14,500
- A shortener for tough to spell KootenaiHealth.org. A hospital in Idaho. Alexa rank near 1.9 million.
