1. Z.com sold for $6,784,000
Sold by Nissan to GMO Internet Group of Japan, a provider of internet services which appears to have a market cap of over $200 billion. Traffic leader for the week, with an Alexa rank near 180,000. “Our group of companies provide all-in-one Internet solutions for our clients to grow and develop their online business.”
2. Everything.org sold for $35,000
Picked up by a New Zealand-based individual/company, and it’s not 100% clear to me what they’re up to. They say that they’re a “new global social enterprise“, then say their mission is “That New Zealand can become the land and sea vegetable garden to the world. That in so doing New Zealand can feed billions with 100% of the daily micronutrients required for their optimal health. That “EVERYTHING” will become known as the “new 21st century food staple” and “the daily antidote to modern living”.” Alexa rank near 18 million.
2. RIN.com sold for $35,000
Domain is parked and under privacy protection.
4. BMH.com sold for $32,488
A Chinese-language for-sale lander is live, and the domain is owned by an individual in China. The domain was a profitable flip for the seller last year, as the domain had been picked up for $27,200 earlier last year (a thin flip), and $10,500 in 2013. It could be flipped again for probably double the $32k price.
5. App.nl sold for $23,125
The Dutch language site roughly translates as follows, “Apps news, downloads, information and tips, visit app.nl. If you are looking to download specific app or want can be found here.” Alexa rank near 2.2 million.
6. Watcha.com sold for $20,000
An upgrade from the .net, which is where the domain is currently redirected. A rough translation of the Korean-language site is as follows, “Watchya is a service to solve? What Movie Should today.“
7. EMH.com sold for $18,750
Picked up by European Media Holding GmbH, and the domain is an upgrade from EuropeanMedia.com. “EMH is an investment and venture development firm partnering with Europe’s best New Economy entrepreneurs and Old Economy leaders to shape the future of the digital economy.” Alexa rank near 7.8 million. The company has started to get into the new G thing, as they’ve picked up the domain Founders.capital.
8. Kange.com sold for $18,000
Home of a a China-based door company. According to a rough translation, “Kang E Zhe Jiang Huayue Wood Co. doors is its sub-brands, Zhejiang Jiang Huayue Wood Co., Ltd. was founded in 1989.
