I hear every day about how fast food is having trouble finding people.. I take that back. I SEE fast food struggling. I love Chipotle, own a lot of stock, eat it all the time. Every place is disgusting right now. They’ve given up telling employees to clean up or else. The quality of people working their is getting worse every week. Chik-fil-A on the other hand is amazing. Their national starting wage is $15, yes $15. They have dozens of young employees smiling and having a great time but staying efficient. And a diverse group too. Not in age but in color. They’re all super young. But the place is spotless, the lines are super long but move fast, and the food is always good. They also look like they have twice as many people as they need. Meanwhile Burger King is literally closed because they didn’t have a night staff. All this tells me two things
One, in fast food, high wages gets you better employees. Or just employees. Two, a good culture gets you better people. Those kids WANT to work at Chick because they are paid well and their friends told them it’s a good place to work. They can’t get a job paying that much anywhere and Chick gets smart young people that are more than capable of handling the checkout and cooking. All they need is a well managed schedule and an adult manager making sure the puzzle fits together each day. Chick seems to be doing a great job at that nationwide. Its a business model that other fast food needs to emmulate

Have a name at auction and need more exposure? Send me an email. We Charge $10 per name per day. We may be able to help. If you have an auction you want to promote, email us for details.*All names chosen by us, Shane and Josh . (ie you click through and purchase a name you like) or an occasional paid listing. Everything we say is based on our own research or is opinion. Do your own due diligence. That means look it up yourself if you don’t think the stats or our opinion is correct. We hand choose the names but we are paid to make this list by both the auction houses, individuals that are auctioning names, and Godaddy affiliate links. Keep that in mind and only buy names that YOU think are good.
Shane, you’re right; Chick-fil-a is amazing! I once forgot my wallet, and they said, “don’t worry, just come back tomorrow and pay.” I did and then wrote the company, thanking them profusely.
