I have been sleeping with a Marpac Sleep Dome for almost 30 years. I have trouble sleeping without it. Without it I find it way too quiet. Other sounds seem to stir may brain or trigger it. Music, tv, makes it inquire rather than rest. And yes I have had a sleep study. Not because I had trouble but because I live in a University town and I sign up to be a Guinea Pig for anything that will give me feedback about myself.
When I travel I often bring that giant sleep dome because every portable one I bring or app just isn’t the same. Then my friend said he had one that is just as good. Turned out to be the portable version of my dome. It’s unbelievable. It actually sounds better and more consistent that my sleep machine. I bought one and use it all day. In my office it lets me think more clearly and at night it provides a perfect white sleep. Meaning, no brain distractions. I realize everyone is wired a little different but for under $30 I think many of you would benefit from this thing. Give it a try and if you like it send one to a friend.
